Describe your life before you had Weight Loss Surgery.
My biggest frustration with my weight was my self confidence. I not only suffered from enlarged veins which caused significant swelling in my legs but severe pain. My weight limited me mentally, physically and emotionally. I had to take a step back and realize this before I could help myself through the weight loss process.

How long were you considering Weight Loss Surgery before you came in? If you put off the decision, why did you wait? What eventually made you decide to “go for it”?
I had honestly thought about weight loss surgery for years but never thought it was a real option. It wasn’t until I consulted with a cardiologist who took me seriously on my journey to point me in the right direction to Dr. Fass.

What was it like to work with the team, from the start of your journey to today?
The journey working with the team was great. They were very informative the beginning to the follow up process where I am now.

The information at the beginning was very overwhelming but everyone took their time to go over every step with me, then as the steps got closer to surgery everyone was very informative and made sure I knew everything I needed to. I felt very taken care of.

Describe your life now, after Weight Loss Surgery. What is the #1 thing you love being able to do now (that you could not do before)?
Life now, after weight loss surgery has been 100% life altering. Best thing I’ve ever done for myself. I have more energy, I’m more confident and I feel like I can educate others. I feel like I couldn’t explain this to others the way I can now.
