

Insurance & Payment
Capital Surgeons Group is “in network” with more than 60 insurance plans. We also treat patients if we are not in network with their plan. Either way, we will file your insurance paperwork with your carrier.
“In-Network” Insurance
Because CSG participates in so many insurance plans, we do not list them here. To find out if we are participating providers in your plan, please contact your insurance company and ask whether the surgeon you would like to see is in network. Our surgeons all participate in the same plans, so if you’re not sure which surgeon you will see, you can simply provide any of their names. You are also welcome to call our staff regarding plan participation.
Insurance Requirements and Referrals
It is important that you are aware of your insurance company’s requirements and conditions for services such as office visits, procedures, testing, and hospital admissions. We will help you follow these requirements, but meeting them is ultimately your responsibility.
If your insurance plan requires a referral, please ensure that the referral is in place before your appointment. Please understand that this is your responsibility. Most HMO and EPO plans require referrals.
Following your insurance policy’s requirements is essential if you want to get the maximum benefit from having that policy.
Payment
Please understand that as the patient, you are ultimately responsible for the payment of your bill. Capital Surgeons Group accepts cash, checks, certified funds, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover Card.
