Surgical Specialties
Dr. Brady is board-certified in general surgery. She has a strong interest in endocrine surgery, including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal procedures. Since completing her endocrine surgery fellowship in
Dr. Brady also focuses on advanced laparoscopic procedures and on the surgical treatment of cancer, including cancer of the breast, head and neck, and colon. Her services to detect and treat breast cancer include the Mammotome minimally invasive biopsy and surgical preparation for MammoSite 5-day radiation treatment - both performed in-office. Additionally, Dr. Brady performs adjustable gastric banding surgery (Lap-Band and Realize Band) and sleeve gastrectomy surgery to treat morbid obesity and its related conditions.
Education and Professional Associations
After graduating with honors from the University of Texas-Houston Medical School, Dr. Brady completed her General Surgery Residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. She earned her B.A. with honors in Biochemistry from the University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Brady completed her Endocrine Surgery Fellowship at the Marburg University Medical Center in Germany.
Dr. Brady is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a member of the Texas Medical Association, the American Society for Metabolic & Bariatric Surgery, and the Travis County Medical Society.
Biography
An Austin native, Dr. Brady takes advantage of our area's outdoor activities by waterskiing, swimming, and running. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her husband and son.
